Jaeger Lecoultre Gyrotourbillon One, Two, Three, Four.
The title sounds like a song for children, and there is something related to it, as the Gyrotourbillon is a bit like a fairy tale, an horological fairy tale, for big children.
As we are on to post a first review on the Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon, which can also be called, in a simpler way, Gyrotourbillon Four, it seems to be interesting to see the previous ones.
The madness started with the " One ", in 2004:
8 Days, Perpetual and Retrograde Calendar, Equation of Time, power reserve indicator, a Tourbillon " gyrotourbilloning " on two axis, this is the first, the milestone, the reference.
The " Two " came in October 2007. Less complicated than the " One ", with " only " the Gyrotourbillon, the power reserve and the 24 hours indicator, its level of decoration put a milestone in the category.
The " Three " was unveiled in 2013:
It launched the " hammered " decoration of the movement, offered an instantaneous digital minute chronograph, and a day night indicator.
Part of the 2016 collection, The Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon, the " 4 ", offers a Gyrotourbillon in a human size. With a different decoration, a day night indicator, and a second time zone. Plus a different decoration.
Quite an interesting theme of collection!
Stay tuned, the Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon review will be posted tomorrow.
Best,
Nicolas
