Less cool or powerful than the steel black, it is actually more elegant and original.
The contrast with the blue sky of the moon phase is sublime, too.

It sure works. A good use of precious metal, in a preferred white color for me.
To quote Fx, I am always "seduced" when I see a grey dial in a rose gold case. But that tends to wear off, and I have not found comfort in wearing colored gold watches. But white gold, or platinum, this is a very timeless combination. Wonderful model here...
