Japanese Choice of Sardine or Tuna?

Friends,

During my travels to the Far East, I succumbed to an Asian mermaid.
Putting aside any sense or sensibility, I took this Seiko "Tuna" into my possession 5 minutes after she was introduced...

The Cal.4R36 automatic winding movement is both hackable and wind-able by hand within a 50mm diameter case. The 200m water resistant stainless steel case has a short lug-to-lug length of only 47mm,  which means it wraps around the wrist on all wrist sizes, making it extremely comfortable. The huge case is constructed in 2 layers with an inner and an outer case. The inner case is made from stainless steel with an outer ceramic protective shroud to protect the case from shocks and any unintentional rotation of the bezel.

The Seiko double case construction provides modern helium insulation without the need for an additional helium-release valve. A special interior design with L-shaped gaskets and the screwed ring securing a Hardlex crystal, makes this watch pressure resistant (up to 20 bar) with efficient helium insulation.

The unidirectional bezel is coated with scratch resistant blue titanium carbide while the Hardlex crystal is more flexible than sapphire glass so it is less prone to shatter. The zig zag blue silicon rubber strap is self adjusting to variance in wrist and diving suit sizes for security and comfort.
The sunburst blue dial with Lumibrite markers and red highlights is the most attractive part of the watch. Some people may complain but I like the four different shades of blue on the case, dial, bezel and strap that still coordinate in a melange of PADI blueness.

What do you think?
Too soon?

Regards,
MTF
