Laurent Ferrier Galet Micro-Rotor Montre Ecole Regulateur Launch in Singapore

Early this week, Laurent Ferrier showcased their latest Galet Micro-Rotor Montre Ecole Regulateur with DKSH (exclusive distributor for Laurent Ferrier) and Sincere Watch, with the presence of Christian Ferrier, Co-Founder of Laurent Ferrier and Vanessa Monestel, CEO of Laurent Ferrier.

The Montre Ecole Regulateur is housed in a 40mm diameter school piece case in 5N rose gold. Thickness is at 10.95mm with water-resistance rated
to 30m.

The opaline finished dials is recessed with two slate grey snailed finish subdials. At 12H is the hour dial with “leaf-shaped” hand while the small-second
at 6H is with baton-shaped hand. The largest minute-hand in the centre is “assegai-shaped”. All hands are of 18K/210Pd white gold.

Domed sapphire crystal blended nicely with the sloping bezel.

Housed within is FBN Calibre 228.01 with silicium escapement, beats at 3Hz (21,600VPH) and has a power reserve of 72 hours.
Côtes de Genève stripes were decorated on bridges and black-polishing on the balance cock and micro-rotor bridge.

Dark grey alligator leather with Alcantara lining, with two buckle options of either Red gold pin buckle or double-blade folding clasp.

Galet Secret, upon depressing the monopusher, the upper dial opens a full 240° like a fan opening revealing a second hand-decorated dial underneath.

This is one nice minimalist piece, the Galet Classic Square with matching vintage light brown Barbialla calf strap with Alcantara lining.

But I imagine in real life, with the small hour hands in regulators, this one with the grey toned hand against the grey background will be very very hard to read. Still, I would love to have one, it's so beautiful!

pretty good, even in dim lighting. Understand your logic, and the hands may have helped, their edges are not flat, rounded which has the ability to collect little light and reflect it. Thanks for viewing. Kong
