Limited Edition anymore?
Hello everyone,
Here is a simple question that I cannot find an answer to by myself:
- I purchased an Omega DeVille Coaxial Escapement in RG from the first LE. S/N is 995/999. As with many 2500A movements the one in my watch suffered sudden death and Omega said they would replace it with the current version of the 2500. Now, do you think I should go for the replacement? Would the watch retain its LE status anymore? I understand Omega does not provide repair services on this movement...
Any opinion is welcome. Thanks!

Many thanks CR! Mine is the RG/blue dial version. So I will lose that nice 995/999 S/N and get a soulless 230987451 (or something alike) instead... and what about the LE marking on the dial? Will they erase that too, presumably using some coarse sandpaper...
