Long time no see - my Seiko Prospex SRPA21 PADI Turtle
The watch has been my first - and so far only - diver. As I seldom find myself in deep water I never felt the need or justification for one, so they have never featured. But with this one I just wanted to give it a try and it remains the watch for the rough and tumble - not that there’s much of it these days.
The watch is solid as a rock, has a strong lume and a robust movement - even if the accuracy is not quite up to COSC levels. So in the end something I could easily justify.
I don’t wear it much but dug it out for this weekend. On a NATO - suitably nautically themed - I find it much lighter and more to my liking than on the bracelet (even though there is nothing wrong with the latter - I just mislike so much weight on my wrist).

Sturdy , tough. A true workhorse.
I too , find it on the heavy side. But in close hand to hand combat if it strikes the head of your adversary its kinda painful for that person. The Padi markings and the blue dial make it special. Best wishes! Geross.

About a year ago I checked how robust it was in Norway (post somewhere if you search for it) and it breezed through it
Can't go wrong with a Seiko diver - looks good on a NATO too
