Hello everyone,
My very first posting on a very interesting board! I have been collecting WW2 Luftwaffe uniforms, badges, headgear, flightgear, etc for almost 30 years but never picked up a watch. I'd love to get a Glash?tte or Hanhart pilot's watch that is undeniably WW2 vintage but I don't know what to look for. I have been told only those marked Tutima are genuine, and I have seen Hanhart watches being sold as 100% wartime that have neither Hanhart or 17 Steine on the face. Is there someone who can guide me through what genuine pilot watches look like? I am looking for one, and I know they came in single and double button examples. Thanks a lot to all in advance!

Always looking for WW2 Luftwaffe and Axis Air Force uniforms, headgear, flightgear, insignia, photos, photo albums, and document groupings (especially to fighter pilots)
