If you have read my previous posts of last Monday regarding my purchase of my 662 Radiomir brown dial, you already know that I also presented my wife with her first Panerai.
When the Boutique representative was finishing with my watch paperwork he asked if I knew the new Duo models.
I answered that only through pictures and he showed me this watch.
Both my wife and me fell in love with this watch inmediately!
We found it so cool, cute and charming! Guess it is the ideal watch for those who like the Panerai design and Heritage but find the usual big size of the classic models too big for their wrists.
The 676 has a 42 mm case with only 10,6 mm height. This makes a watch with a very wearable size with all the Panerai DNA on it!
Movement is a P1000 manual wind with a 3 Days reserve de marche.
I guess I never saw my wife so excited with a new watch like in this occasion and this makes me very happy indeed as I was looking for something special to present her on her Birthday dated last week.
The Boutique Manager was very kind to present her with a Panerai pashmina and an extra Absolutamente straps as an option to the original black aligator straps the watch cames with.
Well, the Panerai bug bite hard as we had to return to the Boutique yesterday to buy another set of straps! She liked so much the green alligator set she viewd in one of the shop windows!
So nice to share a passion with someone we love!

When I saw the "Due" for the first time....
I knew they were going to have to work overtime, to produce enough to satisfy the requests. Finally a Panerai for those with no...courage...to buy a real one. From the pure like/don't like, point of view I find the models "quaint", from the..I like Panera...

When Panerai developped the Due line...
they had the "dress-watch" segment of the market and with the 42mm models the "women's" market. Bullseye on both scores.
Really smart from Panerai to offer a 42mm timepiece IMHO

... I' m a total Panerai addict and fan of Panerai. As a matter of fact my 662 is my tenth Pam in my collection. Now my wife enters the addiction and it will be harder to cope with the Bug I feel! Cheers! Abel
