Look at 'Reviews 2.4.' for some non-technical comments about the Master Geographic. It is labeled "Anonymous" because I forgot to fill in the name space.
Also look at 'Watches 4.1.1.' for some amateur photos of the watch.
There is a comment in the review about the hands. I think I was a little strong about the visibilty. I really have no trouble seeing the hands except that with "Dauphine" style hands, when the minute hand is directly over the hour hand (e.g. at 10 past 2) then the hour hand underneath cannot be seen at all. This doesn't bother me since I know the hour without seeing it.
I don't consider this a fault but a characteristic of the shape of the hands.
I will say that the "see in the dark" coating on the hands isn't very effective but I understand this is true of many watches.
At the recent Purists lunch in NYC, the Master Geographic was well received even among the other glorious hardware present.
Note that some features like the hunter cover on the back are found only on the gold models not SS.
In sum, I love the watch and find myself checking the time every 5 minutes. The watch receives favorable comments whenever anyone sees it.
You can post or e-mail me more questions.
The above comments are about the Master Geographic not the Master Compressor Geographic which is a different watch.
