Dear All, I just wanted to share some pictures of a watch that I don't wear too often. It's an heirloom from my father. The back of the watch is quite worn, but you can still barely make out the word 'Speedbeat'. Any info on year of production, etc. would be most welcome (and that's probably aimed at you, Amanico...) Thanks - it does have a special look and feel
It is quite different from what you see in the shops today. It can't hide that distinct 70's look... The gold case makes it quite heavy compared to my other memovoxes that are all in steel. Best, Claus

Looks great, and in very good condition! Is it as big as the “Egg” E861 (39x46mm) or the Polaris II (43x51mm) or different? Really like the dial – makes you think of a racing flag! Speed… Do you know if it’s rare? Reason I am asking is that the Speedbeat ...

It is actually not an "o" but a sigma...
? I had it on my Nautilus dial (from mid-80'ies). There seem to be some confusion about the meaning of this symbol, but I believe that it indicates that the dial markers are made of gold. Maybe somebody here can confirm and enlighten us on when this symbo...
