Met a fellow Purist today

We had great local food in Singapore, chatted about watches and went to browse at watches. He treated me to a delicious lunch.

I was highly tempted to buy a Panerai Radiomir, or a Bell&Ross chronograph with a glowing dial, or a Tag Heuer Aquaracer.

The deal was excellent, and so I opted for the new Aquaracer night lume. I’m happy like a kid with a new toy.

Car is not mine. It is rented for my few days in Singapore.

I liked it when the press release came out, but already have the quartz version. My gripe of the quartz version is that the strap doesn’t have a dive extension, and is very rigid and sharp, with the excess rubber tucking uncomfortably under the strap.

But with this upgraded version, the strap is softer, and the deployant has a dive adjustment. It is much more comfy.

I was looking at the lume for a long time yesterday. This version’s lume lasts longer than the quartz version.

Congrats on your new catch dear Cookies. I remember we have been talking just a few days ago about the Night Diver both the original quartz version you own (James Bond´s watch in the Living Daylights film) and the new one...
