Mini SIHH in Amsterdam (Holland)

 

Last Saturday Richemont Holland and Gassan Diamonds (large diamond and watch reseller) organised a mini SIHH in Amsterdam. I was fortunate to receive an invitation.

 

I was hoping to see the new PAM312 because I have ordered one. Naturally I was also hoping to see the 3 2009 SE’s (28, 332, 341). Unfortunately they were not present but the 312 was! In my opinion: it’s a beauty. I have made a good decisionJ.

 

There were some other nice models present such as the FER24 with Minerva Movement, Radiomir Tourbillon (PAM316) and some others. I also had a nice conversation with the Panerai Brand Manager

 

Below you fill find some pics of the show. Unfortunately they are not in very good quality because I did not bring my  D-SLR camera but only a pocket camera.

What are your thoughts on the PAM's with the P.900x movements such as the PAM312? Cheers, Anthony...

Hi Antony, Thanks for your response. I think that the new P900X range will be a big success. Why? A manufacture movement is/feels/looks in my opinion more special than a standard (ebauche) movement. The new range opens the door to people who want a moveme... 

312 vs 279 and 233

Pierre, I've ordered a 312 also - arriving July. Whats your view on the 312 vs the 270 and 233, especially the lack of the domed crystal on the 312? Thanks.
