Moment of weakness.
Well, you vintage guys/girls seem to have so much fun, I just couldn't resist a tiny dabble...
Late 50s Seamaster with Cal. 420 movement. I was drawn to the dial and the beefy lugs. It's only 34.5mm, but it has a really nice presence on the wrist. Honeycomb, sector dial. Truthfully, I have not stumbled upon another like it. I presume it is original, but I have no idea. I have seen some autos with a similar dial. No idea whether the crown is original either, and I haven't had a look at the movement. I am going to wear it a while and then have it serviced.

The dial was definitely what drew me to this one. The texture of the honeycomb, softened a bit by the plexi, is just a nice, warm feature. Best, Jed

Though this is my first purchase, my collection does another Omega, but only in bailment for my daughter, to whom my father has given his father's Omega. When she's a little older she'll have it....

Nice acquisition to get one with the honeycomb dial. If it runs fine I'd even wait to get it serviced. Hard to tell about the crown except that it appears to be signed. Did you buy it local or online?

It looks like a correct type

A crosshair, textured dial. The arrow-head markers at the quarters. A tidy looking 50's steel case. What's not to like about that ? I'm sure if it wasn't you that hadn't been weak for this one, someone else here would have been soon enough… And I'm with a...
