Monday pictures - IWC Portugieser Yacht Club

When I'm heading to my 7000 post, let me share some beloved (and forgotten) IWC watches.

Today is my Yacht Club that was released this year and carries the German Portugieser name (instead of the English name Portuguese).

It's a somehow outcast from the Portugieser line because is the only model that has lume on the hands and hour markers.

Powered by the in house caliber 89361, it's a perfect combination between a sports and a dressy watch.

Big (43.5mm case) and bold but dresses perfectly even on my underdeveloped wrist.

Let's go for the pictures, taken today when I'm "enjoying" a mild flu and our end of Spring is ... British:

I had the option between the ardoise and the silver-plated dial. Since I already own a Portugieser Classic ardoise dialed, I choose this one.

I was concerned about the legibility but no worries on this area.

Except for the red chronograph hand and two "60", the entire watch is ... B&W:
