Moritz Grossman in Kuala Lumpur

Independent brand Moritz Grossman is now represented in Kuala Lumpur and I'm pretty glad it is. I've always thought they looked superb in pictures and represent the top notch of German watchmaking and I couldn't have been more wrong - seeing them in the metal shows that it is a whole lot more than what I imagined them to be. IMO, spectacular is the word. There was a small dinner organized to launch the pieces and I'm already a convert after trying them on the wrist. Still learning about the watches but very impressed with what I've seen. I already have my two favorites. The 3 minute tourbillon is also a work of art. Can't say I get the human hair carriage stopper, but it is quite cool...and wearable even for a smaller wrist. Some watches I managed to photograph. My favorites are the slate dial Tefnut and the Benu, in that order.

Movement side of the Benu - 14mm balance wheel. Pretty impressive.

Movement side of the Tefnut. A smaller movement and balance wheel, but I personally find this more attractive than the larger movement in the Benu. Not sure what it is, but I really like the 2/3 plate and being able to see the highly polished pillars between the plates and the dial.
