I had no knowledge, just as I really will not possess even 10% (seriously) of the knowledge of any moderator here.
I am simply a very old school collector, who happened to meet/know the people behind the scenes when watch collecting was 2 steps below cultivating tropical fish...videos of these confessions exist till today.
But I made some choices which I treasure...like the double face chronograph, the cintree curvex ones are really rare, old and very hardy.
Mine has been a good fella for nearly 25 years or more...
Movements then were not a trend.
Many watches had solid backs.
Try finding any cintree curvex Franck Muller these days...and I paid less than what a gold IWC 3 handed watch costs today.
