Audemars Piguet

My favourite AP watch.

 

Besides the Millenary Starwheel in Stainless Steel, I must say that this RO PC Skeleton is a dream watch, and a long love story.

This watch has all I am looking for:

Beauty, Artistic Dimension, a sulbime expression of the perpetual calendar, displayed in an original case, the Royal Oak.

You can easily imagine how I feel when I see one in the flesh, which was the case this week end, as Mo was in Paris, and had the good idea to bring this marvel with him.

One problem, though... This is a very difficlut watch to take in picture, and specially when you have a couple of minutes to try your luck.

Here are my poor attempts...

The delicateness of this dial is something which requires time to be fully appreciated.

Indeed, only Time will make you discover the full beauty, the subtility of the work, the finish.

I think the skeleton PC is easier to ready than my AP PC, the skeleton has a better contrast. One day, hopefully soon. JerryW

My favourite AP too and the number 1 on my 'to buy' list...I think it will look even better when/if they change it to the 41mm case

The "male" design of the royal Oak, but so thin and elegant, Perpetual Calendar with a skeletonised caliber is pure poetry, and skeleton skills are so well mastered by AP, the best along with Vacheron. Easy to wear too in steel. this watch has everthing, ...
