My favourite meteorite dial

Always wanted a Meteorite dial for a few years now for the awesome story that goes with it. Also, just the idea that meteorites are rare and on watches, so you can carry it everywhere, is even rarer. Of all the meteorite dials I am aware of, I feel Lunar Pilot has the best design aesthetics that suits the raw meteorite. The titanium with sand blasted texture matches the texture of the meteorite itself.

I don't like when meteorite has been painted over with different colours like in Parmigiani Tonda 1950, Omega Constellation yellow gold, Laurent Ferrier.

Similarly the very elegant aesthetics of JLC Master calendar or Rolex Day-Date etc with meteorites were not in harmony with the rock.

I was very apprehensive if the size will be too big for my thin wrists and was hoping to try it in a show room somewhere. But none around me.

So saw a great deal during the Black Friday sale and pulled the trigger. worst case will have to pay for the return.

Got it today and v happy with it. Size is not an issue at all.
