My first book on Panerai.....
by Ralf Ehlers and Volker Wiegmann. I ordered it online and took about a week to get to me
It contains a lot of illustrations and info on my dream watch, the 3646 Kampfschwimmer.Will probably take some time for me to finish the book....hehe. After I am done with this book, next on the list will be the book, " Panerai watches from 1936-1997 - Panerai in Florence". It contains 2 volumes with more than 780 pages, which is a lot of info...Think I am really falling into the "dark" side. First is watches, now books...lol

Can't wait to finish the book I am having now and move on to read the 2 books by Dino and Mario. But it will take me some time to finish the current book due to my busy work schedule:-( Cheers
From Mario Paci, you mean? Forget it, many pics have been " borrowed " here and there.
Low resolution pics, poor text, but high price. This is absolutely not worth even 50 Euros. Best, Nicolas.
I have to confess I didn't really.....
sink my teeth into it. I bought the 207A from Paci and during the handover, he "presented" the book to me. With a heafty discount and in the spirit of the moment, I got a copy....
If you purchased the book at a good discount....

You will recognize the pics of the Small Egiziano I posted on our Panerai forum.
I'm still waiting for him to remove them from his book, as I've asked him in a mail I sent him on 7th of Decmeber ... 2009. Still waitiing, but Mr Paci is certainly a very busy person. Best, Nicolas

to buy the book. But don't think he will remove the pics from his book. If he will, he would have done it long time ago. He don't have to do it himself, he just got to open his mouth...haha. Did he even reply to your email? Cheers

You do have good patience though Although is far, he can still send it to you if he is sincere enough. We have our friendly couriers like Fedex, DHL and so on....who are always ready to be at our service. Cheers

A real "must have"
Which of the two books did you get? "Watches with history" or "The references"? However, doesn't make much difference as both are masterpieces and must have's for all the hardcore Paneristi. p.s. fully agree about the book of Paci and Zei....is not bad as...

I bought "The References" as " Watches with History" was sold out. But they will have stock next year. Just not sure when:-( Anyway, it will take me sometime before I can finish this book. If it is not out by then, I will get the book by Dino Zei first......
It is one of the best Panerai book!
