My new 5712
I wanted a bracelet watch and was going to get the SS but was finally convinced that the WG was 'more worth it'. Anyone here wears the 5712G with a bracelet? The color of the WG case isn't quite an exact match with the SS bracelet though.

Congrats Question : Did you ask if the steel bracelet would fit with the WG case? I am just curios because of the sublime grey colour of the WG version ;-) Oliver

It's one of those things that grow on you. I never did consider a Nautilus until I was shopping around for a bracelet watch and tried on a 5712 on my wrist that swept me off my wrist! I did ask if I could use the SS bracelet and I believe amidst the 'why ...

I believe It will not fit, just as the strap will not fit the SS watch with the bracelet.
No SS bracelet but composite possible
Same one as the patek.watchprosite.com / Actually according to my AD the 5712 models come with the composite strap in the box, if you didn't get one you should contact your AD....
I did get a second strap
Though I didn't know it was composite. It's still in the plastic wrap and I thought it was calf leather! Looks like I'll have to find my bracelet watch elsewhere...

You're right, it was long thought to be "composite" here since it's waterproof, but my AD did say it say it was "treated calf", hence the higher price at €245 than the Aquanaut composite at €145. Would have been nice to have that option too.
