This past week, my wife and I stretched our budget to purchase a Senator Power Reserve Display (in 18 ct rose gold) from an authorized dealer. I am just thrilled with this timepiece, and very proud to join the ranks of GO owner/membership.
Hoping to discuss several points about this watch, I apologize in advance for posing so many questions all at once:
1. My dealer stated that GO turns out approximately 5,000 to 6,000 timepieces per year. Is this correct?
2. Does anyone know how many steel and/or gold Senator Auf u. Ab wristwatches are currently in existence?
3. The rear housing of my watch is marked with "Nr. 0007." Am I correct to assume that mine is the 7th watch manufactured under its particular reference no. (39-44-03-11-04)? For argument's sake, is there also a stainless steel Senator Auf u. Ab bearing the (same) Nr. 0007 somewhere out there?
4. When was the Senator Power Reserve Display officially released for sale by the manufactory? Should I have questioned why my dealer had No. 0007 in his inventory for this amount of time?
5. The calibre 39 movement is similarly marked with a definite number in the high-17,000s. Is it correct to assume that approximately this many calibre 39s have been installed in timepieces before mine?
Thank you for your patience and information!!
