Having been into lately, smaller ( no more than 40mm) and classical timepieces with a simple dial.
This one at 44mm is normally out of my comfort zone but it feels light (cermet/Ti) and in fact wears smaller due to short lugs and the matt black colour.
The dial is busy, being a world timer/chronograph, with a small date and running dial at 6. However, the time is easily read which is important for me.
It's the Amvox 5 of course and understandably not one of the popular Amvox iterations due perhaps to the pushers, which I like and has great feel BTW, or the fact that it shares the same complication and most likely the movement of the EWC (Extreme World Chronograph); therefore bringing nothing new to the table. All valid reasons of course.
I needed something sporty and fun for a change so I thought this might fit the bill and hopefully it will stay as a long termer. I am familiar with the workings of it, having once owned the EWC but felt it was too big at something like 46.3mm. So in a way I am re-visiting an old friend but in a new and more accommodating package.
Here are some quick pics.(taken in the evening). I'll try for better ones in daylight.
Thanks for looking!
Cheers
