New GMTs

After having tried the new Pepsi GMT, 2-tone and Everose models, I was surprised I liked Everose the most, followed by the 2-tone and then the Pepsi.  The Pepsi wasn't for me as the look of the jubilee bracelet  didn't do it for me, particularly with the new longish exposed clasp (vs. a concealed clasp).  It just felt and looked "off" and I much rather preferred the look of the  BLNR over the Pepsi.  Still, I know this is a matter of personal preference and I know others love the Pepsi.

While I absolutely loved both the two-tone and Everose models, the latter was a major surprise revelation for me, as I never thought I could carry a colored gold sports watch.  The entire execution from the color of Everose, to the black dial to the muted colors of the bezel create  a surprisingly understated, sober and warm look for the the watch.  The weight of the watch is beautifully balanced and Rolex absolutely nailed all the details with this release.

With that said, I chose the Everose model over the other 2 and this was a great example of watches in person often times having an entirely different personality than you can surmise from pictures.

So without further ado, here's a  picture of my new acquisition.
