New incoming! Pam 718
I started the year with a very special Panerai: the PAM 718 ! This is a 42MM White Gold model (that is a pretty unusual metal for Panerai) boutique-only limited to 50 pieces.
The case is the Radiomir 1940 that has been very popular for panerai. My first radiomir 42mm in "pro rosa" has the classic radiomir case with wired lugs so is good to have something different!
Movement P 1000 with 3 days power reserve and the seconds reset feature that is pretty interesting (and useful to set the watch with precision when you don't have a seconds hand 
The dial is not so easy to capture due but is black with the famous California Dial and no panerai logo
I love the size (at 42mm is perfect for a smaller wrist and works well for business) and the "less is more" dial reserved to get noticed for the ones that know 
It was not an easy catch as the watch is sold out almost everywhere. A great way to start the year. All my best wishes for an amazing 2017!

may I ask from which boutiques you bought it? Every boutique, these days, has it's own models.

in the Luzern Boutique but only because I asked them if they could source one. I am not really sure about the history behind this limited edition: it was only announced online on a blog and never made it the panerai website... if you find some information...

this model was not ordered by a single boutique...
it was available in several boutiques and this is how I could order one. It was not made for a specific location (e.g. Panerai Milano edition) so I am not sure I follow about which boutique ordered it..unless you know something I don't about this particul...

Always loved the Cali dial but the 47mm was always too big for me too...would love a 45mm in steel

is only for a bigger wrist I feel. May be Panerai will launch more California models in 45 or 42!

Congrats, good looking PAM. This brand has really become one to offer everything.
If you are a Panerai fan, you can just about find every combination of size / case type / dial layout, etc. I do not fault a company for making money.
For people like Mick Jagger....
