My new Grand Seiko Night Birch SLGH017. Titanium. The dial, in my opinion, is more subtle than the original silver White Birch, and more legible. The Ti bracelet appears to be a significant upgrade from older GS Ti bracelets. It’s the same design as the steel White Birch only in titanium. It’s a winner.

Congrats on this series 9 GS! They really step it up with this series and the case design is just amazing with these (based on my SLGA007). Also amazing picture as this dial is super hard to capture!
At least I can never capture it with my iPhone… you should try this one on leather straps…😁

I like this watch a lot. The availability of the new movement with a titanium case and bracelet is a great combination. The dial has a lot of visual interest and high legibility without being overpowering with the texture.

i feel like seiko is taking the piss with that name. birch trees have white bark. they are not black, they are not dark. ok, a birch might look dark at night, but so does everything else. i just feel they are making fun of rheir customers with a name like...
