No plan to handle any Rolexes before Christmas, but ...
I happened to stop by the dealer on my way to meet my pal Moki for lunch, and this is what they had on special sale:
The saleslady specifically recommended an orange NATO to match our car - I'm not quite sure about the color match but I give her high marks for trying!
I like the milgauss but it seems very shiny and bound to pick up scratches AND it had no papers, and that's a real issue for me ...
so on we went to lunch where my pal shared a tale of woe about a clumsy friend, and left his Vietnam-era Tudor with me for a crown & stem re-insertion.
and in other cheerful Rolex news, I heard from my wife's uncle Brownie that repairs on his 1962 Datejust were completed to his total satisfaction!

The White Milgauss can be a joyful watch to own.
And yes, the salesman is right, why not an orange Nato! As for the vintage ones, pure beauties. The Tudor Submariner and the compass, wow! Best, Nicolas
That is the Date which is probably 34mm (or a tad less being that old)
the Datejust is 36mm.
