Just saw this on Evo and while I am too young to have listed over the original R17 this one looks quite cool. Even based off an original body shell, with doors, windows and some other components taken over.

Remember is having a Renault 30 in my childhood and it felt quite cool back then. Have no idea how it drove with the PRV V6 🤷🏻♂️

We always used to laugh with those cars back in the days, actually we used to laugh with nearly every French car, except for the Citroen DS and Peugeot 205 which everybody loved. Oh boy .... had we known .... :-(
Yes the 530 is a special car.

I guess it’s simple - the people who were possibly lusting after certain cars back in the day but could not afford them now have the chance to relive it. That’s probably the drive behind it 🤷🏻♂️
