Hi all
Well Imagestation is sort of working today and i was able to copy the following images....
This is Omega's technical bulletin on the case of the 600m Omega dive watch. Omega spec'd this watch to 600m as this document states it was tested at the factory to 1000m.
I also wanted to clear the air about the "rare" left handed version of this watch. It does not exist. I know there are examples out there but this was just a incorrect assembly of the watch. During the course of a typical service the date wheel could be replaced. Not knowing that the date wheel for the 600m is unique to that case. The watchmaker would order a date wheel for a 101x movement , it would fit but the date would not line up in the date window ( since all the standard date wheels assume the crown is at 3 oclock). The 600m the crown is at 9 oclock and the date wheel is asymmetrical. The other part is the dial feet position are at 12 and 6 so the dial is flipped and everything will line up.
