On the NATO that it came with..

 

I figure I was ready for a change. I didn’t want to touch the NATO but it was begging to be used.

It’s a different presence on the wrist. I wish they came with a tan leather strap rather than that black one. But hey, a minor quibble.

One thing about the experience was when I had my strap changed at the boutique.. they actually borrowed the strap changing tool that came with the watch. I would’ve thought they had their own eh?

It took me a few seconds to type this sentence because I kept on looking at my watch!

Lastly, more and more I appreciate this size relative to my wrist. I’m not sure it would look the same (aesthetic proportions) if the case was upsized to say, a 40. The strap won’t wrap around as nicely. Very comfortable strap and the watch is quite secure. I might be wearing this combo ‘til summer.

In fact i hate those loops going in and out as I prefer a streamlined look afforded by flat two piece straps. But I’m willing to turn a blind eye on this one

A NATO can be a more relaxed approach. Goes well with the markers on the dial too. Now you've got that NATO on you can play with a lot more versions too. Cheers JML

Similar tastes indeed.. Now I’m very interested with that Hamilton that Fx just shared with us. My wallet cannot take it anymore but.. just one more, yes? Hahaha! Seems to be the watch addict’s mantra. Back to those straps.. khaki/olive/gray are my favori... 

I'd thought about starting off with the NATO . . .

I think the RM + bracelet combo is still the way to go for 90% of the time. I’ve done a lot of NATO combos in the past and I always find that I inadvertently return to the original strap or bracelet that the watches came with. I don’t think this will be a...
