When the reissue for the 6105 was announced I passed on it. My reason was after purchasing the SLA017 and really being underwhelmed by the quality I vowed to never buy another hyped seiko at that price point again. I have my review on this forum for more detail. I ALSO saw Seikos trend of releasing a “cheaper” alternative and knew the “captain Willard” would turn up sooner or later. Booom here we have it! Fits amazing. The new updated 6R35 has a refined feel from winding all the way down. The crown stood out as a solid rock compared to the flimsy floppy crowns most seikos tend to have (not excluding GS). The watch is incredible. Highly recommend.
