PAM ALLIGATOR STRAP ANTIQUE BROWN OEM or FAKE
I have both this strap from a private as an OEM, but a friend of mine is telling me that it is a non original Panerai strap because it is missing the logo on the inside tip of the longer strap. Was there a time when Panerai did not put the logo there?
Please I really would like to know

Yes there was a time when Panerai did not stamp the Pre-V logo on the straps
They did that for several years. Just cause it doesn't have the Pre-V logo doesn't mean it's a not a genuine Panerai strap. I don't know if it's correct, but I'm presuming Panerai started stamping the Pre-V logo when they first made the straps with the Pr...
It doesn't look..kosher...to me either...
I own almost all the OEM "crocs". The grain of the alligator is different and the thread is too thick and coarse. Also che colour is not right (but this could be due to the lighting and exposure of the picture) ...IMO
