For the third year in a row, Swiss jeweler and watchmaker, Piaget, was a lead sponsor of the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles. Held at Milk Studios in West Hollywood, the event was hosted by celebrated talk show host, Chelsea Handler, and paid tribute to legendary CAA agent, Kevin Huvane, who received the Piaget Award of Inspiration from Sarah Jessica Parker for his dedication and support to amfAR. The black tie affair drew a colorful list of celebrities and influencers including actors, Kate Hudson, Octavia Spencer, Rumer Willis, Beth Behrs, Michael Gladis, designer Jeremy Scott and filmmakers, David Furnish and Liz Goldwyn.

Actress and fashion favorite, Rose McGowan, delighted the paparazzi in her shorts and sequined blazer, chicly accessorized with a silk rose lapel pin, along with white gold and diamond Piaget Rose earrings and a matching ring. "Glee" cast member, Mark Salling, sported a Piaget Polo FortyFive Chronograph and LA social, Jacqui Getty, wore the Magic Gardens of Piaget Honey necklace and a stunning Limelight Tonneau diamond pave watch. Also wearing Piaget were Victoria Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio, who opted for Piaget Possession rings, along with Decades owner and soon-to-be "Bravo" star, Christos Garkinos, and "Fashion Police" judge and notable stylist, George Kotsiopoulos, who both chose Piaget Altiplano timepieces to accent their tuxedos.
The evening began with cocktails and a fashion presentation in which models showcased the latest in sports-inspired attire. Following the presentation, guests were seated for a formal dinner and a live auction led by actors Jennifer Coolidge and Kristin Davis. A highlight of the evening was an intimate concert by pop superstar, Katy Perry, whose performance of her hit song, 'Fireworks,' elicited a thunderous applause from the house.
The evening raised $1.3 million dollars that will go towards HIV/AIDS research. Los Angeles marks the conclusion of the 2012 series of amfAR Inspiration Galas, following on the heels of successful events in São Paulo, New York and Paris.
