Picture of the Day: Jaeger Lecoultre Gyrotourbillon 3.
Two pictures of the movement, taken at the Spécialités Horlogères workshop.
Some very interesting points:
- The digital instantaneous jumping chronograph. Just spectacular, a real raison d'etre in itself.
- The black enameled dial dedicated to time. A marvel.
- The hammered decoration of the recto and verso plates. Something I will have to compare to the chiselled dial of a certain Watch I will post when I can take pictures of it.
A less interesting point, the presence of the night and day indicator, which is not at its place on a Watch of this level, but whose presence is justified on an aesthetical point of view.
Aaah, and, of course, the Gyrotourbillon, which is pure magic.
I just couldn't resist to share these fresh pictures with you.
Best,
Nicolas

I've seen the watch (perhaps a prototype) twice. Once in HK at the W&W show and once at a JLC event. My picture is poor through the display glass, and they had it wrapped in plastic which doesn't help the image. Still a pleasure to see along with all ...
