Pre- Xmas arrivals.. A charming Duo of GP classics.. :))
Friends,
Some of you might remember, my recent first moves into GP Vintage
territory, by a new arrival in my stable, a Chronometer Richeville.
Have worn her, quite a bit since then and really appreciated to
"look down " on her on my wrist:
- A clean, sober dial, pie-pan shape, applied indices,
partially brushed & polished, the "Tower" logo.. Charming indeed..
- Is a lovely appeal and despite the somewhat smaller size of 34/35,
she wears larger, due to the lack of a bezel, plus the effect of the Plexi,
encompassing the pie-pan configuration..
Coincidence, however, strikes twice.. 
Further to that, another kind Purist had tipped me off, about the availability
of a nice Gyromatic Chronometer HF, in YG, he was parting from.
Well, although I'm no colored gold guy ( such as some
eminent members here) , my RG Geomatic treasure
is my only colored gold piece in my boxes,
(just augmented by a nice WG JLC 901, very thin Dresswatch), this GP
here turned out quite tempting:
A georgeous dial, superbly vertically grained, applied indices & the GP logo,
together with a very nice case, having a "riffled" ring, running around,
reminding me on the old Rolexes.
Alltogether a great condition, with just a very modest, nice "bling",
without being "too much"..
Now, without further ado, here a little pre-Xmas Collage, with these two
pieces, representing my last acquisitions for this year.
(Ahemmm.. Although there already something is planned for begin
of January, but that will be another story)..
Please greet with me my very welcomed two new members,
two GP Classics from the late 60ies..
Simply love these, a lot..
Upper & middle left: GP Richeville
Lower & middle rt: GP Chronometer HF
Guess, that was probably this year's novice's reasonable start into GP
Vintage terroir; we'll see what our seasoned GP-gurus, Blomman,
CC & probably Nico think..
All there remains, is wishing you & yours a
