A. Lange & Söhne receives awards in Singapore and Mexico

Glashütte, 2 October 2009 – The RICHARD LANGE „Pour le Mérite“ – a timepiece that A. Lange & Söhne has only presented in January 2009 – has been awarded twice last Friday in Singapore. Not only “Watch of the Year” but also “Best Men’s Watch” have been the titles that have been bestowed upon the watch on the occasion of the “Grand Prix d'Horlogerie Asia” by a jury of watch connoisseurs and experts from all over Asia.

The LANGE ZEITWERK, another new model of the renowned manufactory, has been honoured as “Watch of the Year” in Mexico on 1 October 2009 at the third “Salón International Alta Relojería (SIAR)”. The jury, consisting of twelve international magazine publishers, collectors of high end watches and experts, have chosen this Lange timepiece because of its “great artistic originality”. The LANGE ZEITWERK was said to stand out due to an „ideal balance of mechanical complication and aesthetic clarity “.
