It was a nice day today here in Southern California, perfect for a mini get-together.  So fellow purists AnthonyT, Bill, Dr.No, SteveH and I met up in Santa Monica for lunch.

Here's a view of the Santa Monica Pier and the Pacific Ocean from my office:

Dr.No and I were the first to arrive at the restaurant.  So we grabbed a booth and Dr.No brought out his beautiful new Glashutte Karree Panodate:

I brought along my AP Royal Oak Dual Time:

Bill arrived a few minutes later and checked out my AP.  Here's a wrist shot (nice shirt Bill !)

Then SteveH arrived.  And here's the exciting part, both Steve and Bill brought along their new Seiko Disc Burgers!!!! 
(The Panerai lefty 'fiddy' looks great too).

We shared a bottle of Canalicchio di Sopra 2001 Brunello di Montalcino

The grilled salmon was excellent!

And the dessert was delicious.  Our waiter brought over the dessert cart and it was tempting to just have him leave the entire cart for us to finish

This was a lot of fun.  Hope that we can do this again soon, really looking forward to the next local GTG!
