Question regarding trading jewelry for watches
I don't know if this question is appropriate for this forum as I am new to the forum. I am looking at purchasing my next watch for my very small collection(I only have a Baume & Mercier and a Zenith) and am very interested in GO. I inherited a Diamond ring from my father that's worth a decent amount and am considering selling it or trading it for a beautiful watch that I would be passionate about, as opposed to having a big mens ring that I am not passionate about. Has anyone in the forum done this before? Is it reasonable to try to trade a diamond for a watch with Jewelers? Any advice or thoughts would be welcome. Incidentally I'm eyeing the GO Panograph. I love the uniqueness of the flyback chronograph. Best regards, Josh
