The Faubourg de Cracovie chronograph is a wonderful, horologically densely packed chronograph which I think will be hugely successful. I had seen drawings earlier this year and liked it, but the real thing is incredibly impressive. The case is made of 41.5mm stainless steel and comes with three different dials: two types of guilloche dials and an enamel one - here is the blue “Ricochet” dial we know from the Quai des Bergues collection:
The new movement, the SXH3 is a bespoke version of Vaucher's newest automatic integrated column-wheel movement (Vaucher Seed VMF 6710). It delivers 65h power reserve from a single barrel that drives the balance wheel at 36,000 vph. Modern aspects like a vertical clutch and a one-piece reset hammer (which adds its own haptic qualities to the rest operation!) add to its attraction:
