ref 2552 for Tiffany
Dear all,
In my search for my first vintage Patek, a ref 2552 for Tiffany came upon my way. It's in a very good condition but without original papers (but with the PP extract). IMHO it is a stunning piece. However, I am aware of the numerous (?) dial changes that have taken place. Is there a way to check/see if this is an original dial or check if the "Tiffany & Co" has been added later on ? In line with this I am wondering what to do: even if it is original, would it be worth the premium asked above the "regular" prices for a fine 2552 ?

Not sure what you mean by the dial changes. If the dial is original ,it should match the description from the archives. If Tiffany-I am not sure if this is also documented on the archival paper-someone with a Tiffany dial should be able to tell you. If th...
