Reliability of VC Overseas Ref 47040??

I wonder whether anyone else have had my experience disappointing experience with the poor reliability of the VC Overseas SS Ref 47040, and poor servicing at Richemont Singapore?

I bought my watch in August 2006 and from day 1, it was not running accurately.  After a few months, it started to stop occasionally even on a winder.

I sent the watch to Richemont Singaporethrough my AD and the job completion advice indicated that the service centre did a normal servicing and cleared the watch. This was in March 2007.

Today I had to bring the watch in again -- this time to the service centre in Shanghai (as my Company sent me to work in Shanghai). The watch is again stopping intermittently. I have only worn the watch twice between the last service and today, and I have been very gentle with the watch. According to the service staff at Shanghai, the watch is stopping because they are several gears which are misaligned. To my utter surprise (and the utter surprise of the service staff at Shanghai), they found that the gaskets of the watch to be worn out and requiring replacement and the movement badly oiled and needing of re-oiling.

You can imagine my disappointment with VC. I have 16 watches in my collection at the moment -- none display this lack of reliability, and furthermore of a 'rugged sports model'.

I have to wait 25 working days now before I can get the watch back -- and I wonder whether it will ever work right.
