Dear Gentlemen,
Seems Greubel Forsey are working on a technology capable to produce tiny mechanical parts.
Unfortunately, we have to wait till 2019 to see their first "mechanical nano" timepiece 
Seems promising anyway...

I think they've found out the way to hide a battery ;-) The barrel size is the same of a 3 days power reserve
There is a discussion on this milestone on the independents forum...
