I received a call from my AD a couple of weeks ago while working my week of nights that the Everose GMT I had ordered 8 months ago had finally come in. My situation since then has changed. My wife gave me an ultimatum: I need to sell the majority of my collection. And to be fair, it did grow a bit too rapidly in the last couple of years.
I almost told my AD, a wonderful quaint unpretentious local jewelry store, that I needed to cancel the order. But I simply didn’t have the heart without first trying the watch on myself.
And when I did, something immediately clicked.
My tastes generally veer toward older watches, but the all gold GMT felt like a timeless classic. I’ve been wearing it every day.
