Rolex Yacht Master.
It has been an eternity I didn't even look at it. Easily since past summer.
Which doesn't mean I don't like it anymore.
This Yacht Master is a case apart, in the Rolex World. One of the few Rolex which are born almost ab nihilo. Ok, it is a De Luxe Submariner, but such a version never existed. Gold versions apart.
Its grained platinum dial and bezel make all the difference, as well as this lovely red line on the dial and the red second hand.
We are far from the exuberance of the Green Milgauss, or Green Submariner.
Here, we are in the sport chic area.
One of the very good modern Rolex. Definitely, at least from my point of view.

Always had a weakness for this particular version...
but every time I tried it one the bezel did not work for me... suppose I prefer flat bezels personally. But a gorgeous piece and as you not a very worthy candidate as a sporty chic timepiece!
Yes, to me it's also a bit an almost "un-Rolex", together with 1655, Milgauss GV, which are even more eclectic..
