Seeing things in a different light..

A crazy mismash of elements with a charming outcome. I sometimes wonder how designers and executives arrive at a decision to bat for certain products. How did they come to think of mixing Explorer 1 elements with that cockpit instrument.. and throw it inside, oh I don’t know, a Milgauss case. That polished bezel can have a tendency to make the overall look flat especially when paired with an all-too-clean flat sapphire crystal. While we’re at it, breaking away from the old AirKing aesthetic, I sometimes wonder if they could’ve made it a bit more sensous by making the crystal curve a bit like how it’s on the Omega Railmaster 60th.

I think this could’ve been easily a disaster. I wonder if they knew exactly what they had when they decided to stamp the dial with their crown. Maybe they did, coming out with a yellow crown (when it’s usually something more dignified) and green text. I think they had a bit of fun doing it. Whatever it was, I’m sure as hell smiling

Observing the feedback of others here I agree is very useful. It's like those extended reviews some magazines and sites conduct for cars. Less so "a week on the wrist" more "six months to a year on the wrist". Definitely helpful and more valuable than any...
