First up is an interview with the two Seiko designers of the 1995 and 2006 versions of the Alpinist, Sakai-san and Kuzuya-san, respectively. Very interesting to see what their inspirations were for each of their renditions of the Green Alpinist.
The second resource is an online history of virtually all the Seiko Alpinist models to date including the upcoming Alpinist-inspired Prospex models coming out in 2020.
