Seiko Service -- is it in a relaxing area like the studio where the watches are made?
This question was posed by Patrick_y
I relayed it to Keiko, my contact in the GS PR department. It bounced across the world from California to Japan then the responsible person at the Seiko HQ in New Jersey and the answer came back to me.
"We are very much aligned with the new Morioka Studio external environment".
It is fortunately a very short distance as the crow flies to the Ramapo Valley Reservation, a 4000-acre park with hiking, camping, mountains and lakes. Here are a few scenes:

Seiko can't force their watchmakers out into the wilderness, but it is close by.
The service center is also just across the highway from Ramapo College, where my uncle taught art and photography for several decades.
( It may be said that the building itself is older, more industrial and with less ambiance perhaps than Morioka.)

Thanks for the question Patrick.
