senator perpetual
Hi all,
Have been looking for un understated perpetual (not having the budget for the patek 5050!) and came accross this the other day. Not knowing much about GO I have a couple of questions.
I was told total Go production was around 6000 units per year ( this is all watches, not just perpetuals) Is this correct or sales patter to promote exclusivity.?
Is the Cal 100 a true inhouse movement or is it based on a nouvelle lemania/eta or other ebauche?
It does seem from answers to a previous post that GO are far more independant than the other swatch group companies which is certainly a plus!
Thanks alot
Sam

for the help. good news about the movement. even patek have been using nouvelle lemania ebauches for their perpetual calenders! now just need to decide on case and face colour!
The Senator Per Cal

based on your need for legibility is great. That is the exact same reason why I picked my Senator Per Cal as well. The best I think is the Debethne DB 15 which has eqal legibility but a moonphase to die for. The price however, can drive you close to death...

oh , you have really gone and put the cat amongst the pigeons!!! that De Bethune is THE best looking perp calender I've ever seen 2nd hand seems to be about £28000 as opposed to a new G O in gold for about £18,000. that extra £10,000 doesnt seem to much.....
