Sharing a recent arrival to the Panerai stable...
Pam 1055 Verde Militare.
I run on this watch unexpectedly yesterday.
I confess had not paid much attention to this model when it was launched a few months ago as an Special Limited Edition of just 500 pieces available through the Panerai web site only.
I thought the green dial was not a big deal till I viewed it in the metal. The green dial and green straps combo is just awesome making for a stunning presence on the wrist even considering its “small” for a Panerai 42 mm case size.
As I have said in some previous post I feel 42 mm is a very practical size for a diving watch which is going to be used for its intended purpose.
No need to say that I like this watch so much!!

I think that it is the perfect watch for hunting and fishing: Steel, olive green dial and strap, waterproof up to 300 m. And it goes very well with a Barbour jacket ;-)

It is a good-looking-green (GLG). Green canvas is an obvious strap option, I think any black would look good, and I think a brown or cognac leather might be interesting too. Nice catch!

Agree with your suggestions of straps. Definitely a green canvas would look great and would like to explore that option. I’m not fond of rubber straps in my watches so I’m sure I will be exploring other options soon. Thank you again my friend!! Best Abel ...
