Sharing an old Cyma Chrono...

... Inspired by the post of my dear friend Blomman posted a few days ago, showing his beautiful Eterna chrono, I wish to share this other oldie which I feel was made around the same period circa 1940´s.

I´m very fond of these old chronos which surely lack the prestige and aura of some offerings from Longines or Omega, but anyway I find very enjoyable the charm of their dials, scales and set of hands.

In this case, this watch of the Cyma brand exhibits a beautiful set of  blued hands as well as telemetric and tachimetric scales.

I also feel that the movement signed Cyma 789 could be based in a Valjoux 71 like in Blooman´s watch. I wish my friends here can confirm or rectify this.
Below the serial number, there is another number which I think is the reference of this model: "4822".

I enjoy very much wearing this type of old chronos on my wrist and feeling the mood of past times old gone.

I hope you´ll like it!

Best cordial regards, Abel.
