Sick, Sad or Suffering Seiko Photos and Stories (to go with the poll)
Hi guys,
I started a poll (sorry it says null) and I asked if anyone would share their suffering Seikos.
Here are 4 of mine:
From left to right -
1.a titanium kinetic that runs fine but the crown or tube threads are stripped so the locking crown won't stay in. Sigh. I am afraid to wear it.
2. stainless perpetual - contacts on the movement circuit board are scratched up from multiple resets during battery replacement so it might need a new movement. Sigh.
3. White dial 17 jewels BellMatic - 4006-7080T came as a parts watch and I know nothing - it rattles and date won't switch
4. Black dial 27 jewels BellMatic - 4006-7050T came as a parts watch and I know nothing about it - hands move and date switches (manually)
I haven't fixed them because even if I did, my collection has grown to the point where I wouldn't wear them.
Sigh,
Mike
